Been a while since I've mentioned my own direct ancestor, Theodore Kleinsteuber, born 1804 in Gotha, Germany. Theodore and his wife Dorothea had 16 children of whom 11 lived past infancy. Nine children immigrated to Canada, as well as Dorothea who moved after the death of Theodore in 1866.
There are 673 descendants and 951 blood relatives of Theodore in our Geni family tree, the majority living in Ontario, Canada.
As you know, we believe all Kleinsteuber descendants worldwide came from this one small region in Germany (Thuringen) and are all related. We now have 8 unconnected Kleinsteuber family groups in Geni and are still researching for a common Kleinsteuber ancestor.
