New Aussie Cousins found!

11/6/2012

While researching my own immediate family tree in southeastern Ontario (Belleville in Hastings County in particular), we became aware that another Millard family had lived in the area a generation before my own grandfather moved to the area and started a dairy.   This previous family had a Frank and a Percy, as did mine.

I was able to track that family back several generations, and one of the family members was Edward Candish Millard, born in England in 1800, though I wasn't able to find any of his descendants.

I received an email yesterday from a Ralph Millard in Bathurst, Australia, who saw a Post I had written, looked in my Tree and found Edward Candish Millard, his great great grandfather.  Hopefully we will see his ancestry information added to Geni shortly.

Cousins rock!

Happy Cousin's Day !

Sorry forgot to mention. The Millards I spoke about in my earlier post grew up in India ( JABALPUR, MADHYA PRADESH)

I would be happy to connect the two families.
