It appears certain the first Millard to arrive in America was John Millard, an early pioneer in the Plymouth Colony in Massachusetts.
There has been confusion as to where John was born (Maulden, Bedfordshire or St Chaddis, Cheshire), whether he had one or two wives, and so on. We do know he had a raft of children in Rehoboth and was buried there in 1685, that he was a tanner by trade, and and that his Will stated his name as Miller.
The attached composite of three documents, including a Millennium File (LDS), clearly shows that both he and Elizabeth Baugh were from St Chaddis, Cheshire, and Geni has been updated accordingly.
