Note: This is the sort of Blog Format Sandbox page I set up to teach new users how to use Weebly without endangering live pages. It normally takes this and about an hour to teach new users (like our receptionists at the front desk here) how to use it.
They do the daily Events and menus each day, after a couple of weeks I give them access to all the website pages. See

This is a Blog Format page, where each Post functions as a separate webpage within the main webpage.
This is a "hidden" webpage, meaning it does not show up on the Navigation Menu, you (and I) are the only ones who know the URL address, which is;

There are always two (2) steps in adding "stuff" to this website, first of all in Weebly edit mode (to create a new webpage or Post, then to Publish the information you have added. Please, ALWAYS go to the published page/post and check the results, make sure the "lightbox" features and the live links work as you expected, and that the visual optics of the page are what you wanted.
When you are ready to make your first Post, click on New Post (at bottom right), and a new "empty" post entry will pop up looking for a Title to be put in.
Then, click and drag an Element from the toolbox on the left into the body of the new Post. This element you are reading is a Text element.
Next I will drag an Image element in, and load a JPG into it.

That is how you start, you can add a gallery of photos, you can upload a video, you can change text size and colour, etc. The text editor is a little less effective than MS Word, for example, but is adequate.
You'll note this post is your starting point, feel free to try as many different elements as possible. Ask as many questions as you want, as with any S/W there are lots of techniques and tricks.
Weebly is generally considered to be the easiest for end users to learn. With our front office staff here it took 2 hands on training sessions of about 1 hour each, first to get started, second for dressing up gallery photos, adjusting publication date, stuff like that. They've all had experience with MS Word, and picked it all up quickly.
Your career is in IT, I think, this should be a breeze!
